Why we don't do Black Friday and Love Small Business Saturday
We are passionate advocates for Small Business Saturday which takes place on the first Saturday of December, in this case Saturday the 7th December 2019.
Spend £10 or more, and get £5 back.*
As an incentive to shop small, if you have an American Express card and you spend £10 or over with us on small business Saturday and for the two weeks following, American Express will give you £5 back on your card.
Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, not-for-profit movement which started in the US and migrated to the UK, and aims to promote small and independent businesses as the antithesis to Black Friday.

In 2014 we had the honour of being chosen as one of the 100 UK best businesses as part of the small business 100. We had an amazing time setting up a pop-up toy shop between number 10 and number 11 Downing Street with some other incredible small businesses.
We keep prices low all year round!
As a small independent business, we are proud of what we are able to offer our customers. We always keep our prices competitive, and would never add extra profit in order to slash prices so it appears as though you were getting a great deal unlike our competitors. Infact we dont't try to compete as we offer a totally different shopping experience.
We will always be honest with our customers, and we pride ourselves on being able to offer you the best price as we possibly can on a daily basis.
We feel that Black Friday may benefit large and multinational retailers, but ultimately is detrimental to the High Street and small independent businesses, and is and with that in mind we chose not to participate in Black Friday.
Spending your money with a small business not only puts money directly back into the local community and economy, it helps ensure that we have a healthy and diverse High Street experience. Heres to shopping small this Christmas!
