CRAZY CRAYONS and the National CRAYON RECYCLING PROGRAM have been in the crayon recycling business for over 24 years! In April 1993, the first drop-off bin was placed in the entryway of a grocery store in Troutdale, Oregon.
CRAZY CRAYONS were given as Christmas Gifts to children of friends and family. Soon becoming a “cause” to involve kids with recycling.
The crayons arrive at the Crazy Crayon workshop to be melted down, strained, sterilized and hand poured into beautiful, functional works of art for kids to enjoy.
